MY 17th RANKED FIGURE VC 264 REVA Photo from Galactic Figures WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: Now this isn't a character bash on my part, I'm only analyzing the figure itself, which is very well done. Great head sculpt, excellent articulation, and plenty of accessories, basically what a Vintage Collection figure should be. Plus, she's got custom potential. Fennec Shand's head, and helmet, can fit on this figure. The only thing that has surprised me is that we haven't gotten any other Inquisitor figures besides Reva and the Grand Inquisitor, despite having good bucks for both. Love or hate Reva as a character, but as an action figure she shines. Plus those extra lightsabers come in handy as extra weapons, which is one reason why I have several Reva's because the only problem I have is getting her to hold her ring shaped lightsaber.  MY 18th RANKED FIGURE:  VC 164 CARA DUNE Photo from BanthaSkull WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: I'm not going to lie, I've had a crush on Gina Carano for years. When I heard she was going to be in the Mandalorian, well, I had to find a way to watch the episodes. Once I saw her debut episode, I couldn't wait to get her action figure! She comes with a blaster pistol, that stays snug in the holster, and her long heavy blaster rifle. She's also got good articulation, a great face sculpt and she completes a lot of scenes from the show. This is a very good figure, but an even better option would have been being able to remove her knife from her boot. Other than that, she can smack around Stormtroopers and make difficult headshots on Imperial pilots.  INTERESTING FACT: Her Sixer version does have the removable knife.   WHY IS SHE RANKED 18TH: Because this is the only figure we'll get of Cara.  My 19th RANKED FIGURE:  VC 44 LUKE SKYWALKER DAGOBAH LANDING Photo from eBay WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: He's scene specific. But if you needed him, in a pinch he could also pilot the Snowspeeder, since he's dressed for it. He can fit in that vehicle, plus his X-Wing of course. It's one advantage that swivel hipped figures have over the ball socket hipped figures. Now can he do any action poses? Not really. All Luke did was swim, pull out his blaster when R2 got swallowed and then cleaned him off after he crash landed. But, this was a hard figure to get. I never saw it, but I had wanted it. He goes for a high price on the secondary market, so if you want him, pay up. And while I personally don't really look at the cards as a selling point, I do like this card. But if I ever got it, I doubt I'd open it. Unless I found a Kenner Dagobah Playset for a cheap price.  MY 20th RANKED VC FIGURE:  VC 26  ENDOR COMMANDO Top photo from eBay, bottom photo from BanthaSkull WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: To my knowledge this was the first VC figure that had not only a variant, but no change in the card number. I could be wrong. But Hasbro giving us 2 different figures was at the time something special. No more unofficial Clones, unless you bought more than 2, or found heads that could fit on the neck post. I remembered reading there was a variant of this figure, but I have only seen the bottom photo version in person. And at a very high price. He doesn't have the modern articulation, which is why I think Hasbro is reluctant to offer this in either a repack or part of a white boxed 4 pack. He's got what he needs: helmet, weapon, and trench coat. Plus he checks off the Original 96, and offers a unique troop building experience. And I wish I had them in my collection.  MY 21st RANKED VC FIGURE:  VC 298 JEDI ACADEMY LUKE SKYWALKER  Photo credit: eBay WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: It's the best post ROTJ Luke Skywalker. He is and always has been my favorite character, and this figure has barbell hips, something VC 264 Light Cruiser Luke should have had. He holds his lightsaber well in either hand, and the unlit hilt feels unnecessary since he can't store it on his belt. I've made a decent custom by trimming the loose belt wrap and using gloss black acrylic paint for the belt and boots, plus gave him some silver paint for the belt buckle. I had thought some of this figure would be used for the VC ANH Luke, but they didn't, thankfully.  INTERESTING FACT: I almost went with the Deluxe version of this figure, but despite the nice extras this is the version I prefer.  MY 22nd RANKED VC FIGURE:  VC 53 BOM VIMDIN  Photo from Relics Of The Force WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: Bom is a background alien in the Cantina, a blink and you miss him character. He's well done by 2010 standards but what still pops about this figure is the incredibly detailed head sculpt. The eyes, the facial expression, the horn on his head...is there a better alien weirdo figure to have?! He comes with 2 weapons and a cup, so he's ready to drink and fight! Just like some people in the small town bars I visit. And like the Cantina it's best to not make direct eye contact or ask too many questions to them. You don't want to get shot.  FUN FACT ABOUT THIS FIGURE: I never saw him in the VC 1.0 days, but saw this figure a couple years ago...and I passed on him. His $45 price was (and still is) out of my range.  MY 23rd RANKED FIGURE: VC 21 GAMORREAN GUARD  Photo from actionfigure411 WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: Well, to the ire of many collectors who will read this....I don't. He's a kooshball with articulated limbs. And the fur is just too overdone. However, I can appreciate how good those limbs and head are. Even now they hold up well over a decade after this figure debuted. To this day, I've only seen this figure twice in person and didn't buy it either time. I was obligated to put it on my all time list, but if I had put it at 25th, while fun for me would have opened up trolls, which I'm okay with.  WHY HE'S RANKED 23rd: As I stated above, obligation and being an articulated kooshball. If the fur hadn't been done, and plastic used instead I would rank him higher. It should be noted my opinion on this figure is much different than collector's.
