VC Top 25 in 2025: Number 19

 My 19th RANKED FIGURE:

VC 44 LUKE SKYWALKER DAGOBAH LANDING

Photo from eBay

WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: He's scene specific. But if you needed him, in a pinch he could also pilot the Snowspeeder, since he's dressed for it. He can fit in that vehicle, plus his X-Wing of course. It's one advantage that swivel hipped figures have over the ball socket hipped figures. Now can he do any action poses? Not really. All Luke did was swim, pull out his blaster when R2 got swallowed and then cleaned him off after he crash landed. But, this was a hard figure to get. I never saw it, but I had wanted it. He goes for a high price on the secondary market, so if you want him, pay up. And while I personally don't really look at the cards as a selling point, I do like this card. But if I ever got it, I doubt I'd open it. Unless I found a Kenner Dagobah Playset for a cheap price. Then, and only then, I'd open it.

INTERESTING FACT: I saw this figure once in person, at the NOLA Comic Con for $185. Yikes.

WHY IS HE RANKED 19th: He's a good figure. Despite not having modern articulation, he fits in vehicles as any good pilot figure should. I do like the head sculpt, and I like that he's scene specific. I don't know of any Sixer figures not named Din Djarin who can make that claim either. It's why the Vintage Collection, for me is the better scale. Plus, Luke Skywalker is my absolute favorite character in the 6 Episode Saga. If I can work him in, I will. And I did. So there.

COLLECTOR'S CHOICE 19th RANKED FIGURE

DELUXE KRRSANTAN

WHY I THINK COLLECTOR'S LIKE THIS FIGURE: He's a Wookiee, he's got a great sculpt, and he's all business. Plus, he comes with some accessories, although his SDCC exclusive came with more, and a different facial expression. His sculpt, paint apps, and his ability to interact with his accessories is near perfect. Plus, he interacts with Dr Aphra, and the upcoming Tattooine Obi-Wan from the Obi-Wan show (both in the comics, and yes Krrsantan fought Obi-Wan). With modern articulation, there is hope that the upcoming ANH Chewbacca borrows some from this figure, even though Chewbacca is taller, but not as bulky. Like this dude is.

WHY HES RANKED 19th: When putting my final list together, I had written my first 4 posts...only to realize I forgot to add the Deluxe Figures voted on. So, I went back and coin flipped Krrsantan with the winners and got him to come out on top of the coin toss winner in a best 2 out of 3. But, he is an outstanding figure with everything I listed above, and a figure I enjoy for some Expanded Universe action, or action from BOBF. We do it all for the Wookiee, don't we collectors?!
