VC Top 25 in 2025: Number 18

 MY 18th RANKED FIGURE:

VC 164 CARA DUNE

WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: I'm not going to lie, I've had a crush on Gina Carano for years. When I heard she was going to be in the Mandalorian, well, I had to find a way to watch the episodes. Once I saw her debut episode, I couldn't wait to get her action figure! She comes with a blaster pistol, that stays snug in the holster, and her long heavy blaster rifle. She's also got good articulation, a great face sculpt and she completes a lot of scenes from the show. This is a very good figure, but an even better option would have been being able to remove her knife from her boot. Other than that, she can smack around Stormtroopers and make difficult headshots on Imperial pilots.

INTERESTING FACT: Her Sixer version does have the removable knife.

WHY IS SHE RANKED 18TH: Because this is the only figure we'll get of Cara. While adding barbell hips would make this a much better figure, I doubt she'll get that treatment, or a repack. I won't speak about why she's no longer on the show, but as a figure, she's a good one. I haven't checked her secondary market prices lately, but someone out there might have a good deal if you're looking to acquire her.

COLLECTOR'S CHOICE 18th RANKED FIGURE:

VC 53 BOM VIMDIN

WHY I THINK COLLECTOR'S LIKE THIS FIGURE: He's a background alien weirdo. As I've pointed out he has an incredible head sculpt, and overall good detail. Keep in mind this is a VC 1.0 figure, and if he's still getting positive reviews it means Hasbro really did a good job on this figure. He's got a lot of accessories, three in total. That also counts for something too, as today's VC figures only get a couple, or in the case of Morgan Elsbeth, none. Plus the card image shows off his face pretty well.

WHY HE'S RANKED 18th: For spots 13-18, I had 6 figures tied. So, once again I did coin tosses. I used the old NFL Playoff model to get winners. The 2 lowest VC figured got 1st round byes, and the other 4 went kicked off the wild card. Figures advanced based off heads to lower numbered figures, with tails going to higher numbers. For the championship round, higher number VC figure got heads, and you'll see how that played out. Bom lost the opening round but made a great show among voters. I've already covered him, ranking him at 22nd. Collector's however place him higher, and their voices are the ones that count. Once I get to the end, I'm going to publish all the vote totals, which are actually all very close.

Thanks for reading!
