VC Top 25 in 2025: Number 1
MY 17th RANKED FIGURE
VC 264 REVA

WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: Now this isn't a character bash on my part, I'm only analyzing the figure itself, which is very well done. Great head sculpt, excellent articulation, and plenty of accessories, basically what a Vintage Collection figure should be. Plus, she's got custom potential. Fennec Shand's head, and helmet, can fit on this figure. The only thing that has surprised me is that we haven't gotten any other Inquisitor figures besides Reva and the Grand Inquisitor, despite having good bucks for both. Love or hate Reva as a character, but as an action figure she shines. Plus those extra lightsabers come in handy as extra weapons, which is one reason why I have several Reva's because the only problem I have is getting her to hold her ring shaped lightsaber. But, I'm not holding it against Reva.
WHY SHE RANKED 18th: If I had done something like this a year ago, Reva would be in my Top 10. But as I added figures to my list, Reva slid. She has the barbell neck, which should give great movement, but her long hair gets in the way. Frankly, there are better figures than Reva. But with nearly 350 figures to be compared against, just being here is an accomplishment. Reva is an outstanding figure for any Obi-Wan Miniseries displays, or if you need Inquisitors or dark Jedi for whatever scenario your imagination desires.
COLLECTOR'S CHOICE 17th RANKED FIGURE:
VC 307 COUNT DOOKU
WHY I THINK COLLECTORS LIKE THIS FIGURE:
He's not only a villain, he's a Sith Lord, has extra accessories and has an incredible card. From a figure standpoint, he's got incredible articulation and a head sculpt worthy enough to be called a mini Sir Christopher Lee. Dooku has been on many March Madness and Last Figure Standing lists for years, so getting him is a huge win. Personally, I had been using both the 2005 Dooku, and the Evolutions Dooku in my Prequel Era figures, and had been opting more for the 2005 version for ROTS era displays. There really isn't anything bad to dislike except some articulation limits, but remember, he's an old dude. Which may be why he was a fan channel exclusive, and not a mainline release. This figure pleased me greatly, and many collectors as well. But the card, to me and other collectors that really stands out.
WHY HE'S RANKED 17th:
Besides the coin toss? Some limits to articulation. Don't get me wrong, he's got good articulation, but some limits to the elbows and knees, but as I pointed out, he's an old man. I have had issues with his tiny lightsaber, which makes getting him to use a two-handed weapon grip (THWG) difficult. Use an older Dooku lightsaber and it works well. In many personal Top 10 lists, he ranked well enough with some collectors to make it there. As someone who has 1 loose, 1 carded and 1 with a slightly damaged card to keep for a future custom, I enjoy having this figure. But a better Obi-Wan and Anakin will be needed in my opinion for him to duel. The upcoming Asajj Ventress gives him someone to command and interact with. As Prequel Trilogy fans begin to step into the VC realm, I expect Dooku to gain in popularity, and if I do another VC Top 25 list in the future, Dooku will be a figure that moves up. The more figures he can interact with, the more popular he can become.
