LFS Winner

It all came down to these 2 figures:

Arliel Schous, who was a missed Cantina Tier, and Luthen Rael, the breakout star from the Andor series. Who won?! As of this writing (November 14th) I do not know. But, I'm going to go into why both figures deserve to win, and why if they ever get released, they need to be in a fan channel wave.  I just don't see either character's figure being something that if it made it to brick and mortar retail would sell out.

THE CASE FOR ARLIEL SCHOUS

The Cantina HasLab was nearly doomed when it began. A reduced time frame, and in my opinion, unreasonable Tier numbers. But, he is someone who has some visibility, even in the 1997 and beyond editions of ANH. He's not poor Lak Sivrak, who was deleted in the Special Editions. Plus Arliel is the same species as Captain Brutus (I could be wrong but they look very similar), and he could be used to make Brutus. While there may not be a physical sculpt he has a digital one. Besides, Arliel has never been made into an action figure before. But if he's made, we could get Brutus and possibly Lak Sivrak in the line. Which was why I voted for him. Hasbro said that if fans wanted Arliel Schous to make their voices heard.

THE CASE FOR LUTHEN RAEL

Luthen has been a popular choice since the 1st season of Andor aired. He even got a Black Series figure, but nothing in the VC. When it comes to Andor, just like Skeleton Crew and Bad Batch it's not represented well in the VC. Luthen's popularity had dominated Disqus Comments on BanthaSkull, and on Yakface as well. He plays a huge part in the early days of the Rebellion, and on putting Cassian Andor on his path. But the only way he could get a figure is winning fan events like LFS.

2025 LAST FIGURE STANDING WINNER: LUTHEN RAEL

I wasn't surprised. I even predicted it yesterday morning before the results were official. He's been popular in comment sections, his character is popular on social media, it just made sense. Most collectors feel Arliel is coming in the rumored Cantina 4 pack (I personally don't think he is), so that feeling no doubt put votes to Luthen. But, as I said earlier this post: I think Luthen is a peg warmer if he's given a general release. His Sixer figure is easy to find, and has that annoying trench coat which hinders articulation. My bet would be his VC counterpart would be the Sixer version shrunken down. He should be in a fan channel wave, and not available at the limited brick and mortar retailers. Short but I hopefully got to the point. Thanks for reading! A special thanks to Chris and Nomad at BanthaSkull for allowing me to post this link in the comments section! Please share this link on your social media accounts so I can get more readers!
