What Hasbro Needs To Do For The Ghost

The Vintage Collection is now 3 for 3 on HasLabs as The Ghost not only fully funded but also met all 3 tiers, so Hera, Ezra, Kanan and Zeb will be coming with it, for those who backed it. Hasbro also announced that Sabine and Chopper will be offered on Mural style cards as seen in the Rebels series finale and on the Ahsoka series before Sabine left to find Ezra alongside Ahsoka. But, as Hasbro made efforts to get figures for Jabba's Sail Barge and the Razor Crest, The Ghost needs more figures to interact with, some of them could be simple repaints for Hasbro, while others need to be all new or kitbashed. This time, I'm asking for figures in the preferred order.

1. Agent Kallus (Empire). Before he defected to the Rebels, Kallus was a thorn in the side of The Ghost's crew. He will need his modified Lasat bo-rifle and a removable or swappable helmeted head. The Moff Gideon figure would be a perfect figure to use to make Imperial Agent Kallus.

2. Captain Rex. Old man Rex is just as big a part of The Ghost Crew as Kallus would later be. He would have to be an all new sculpt. A swappable helmeted head, his long rifle and his blaster pistols.

3. Hondo Ohnaka. All Hasbro would need to do us sculpt new arms and remove the trench coat on the previous release. Adding Melch the Ughnaught would also be appreciated, so this would need to be a 2 pack.

4. Maul. In Season 3, Maul kidnapped the Ghost Crew and led Kanan & Ezra into a trap. This should be a Deluxe figure as Maul would need to come with both Jedi and Sith holocrons, and maybe one of his droid helpers. The figure would need to be an all new sculpt to capture his look as "Old Master". The Sixer version of this Maul is amazing, and avaliable now at most Gamestops.

5. Mart Mattin. In the Rebels finale, Mart piloted The Ghost and got the help that Ezra needed to liberate Lothal. I would even argue for Iron Squadron to go with Mart, but he's the only one needed. They can use the Ezra buck from this HasLab with a minor adjustment to give us Mart.

6. Leia Organa. Leia (and Lando) made a guest appearance on The Ghost. Since we are getting Leia from A New Hope, maybe this buck could be what's underneath her white robes. Leia isn't tall, but the only version of Leia in 3.75 inches is the 5 POA version. Which isn't okay!

7. Lando Calrissian. This should be an exclusive. Slightly repaint the Bespin Lando and add a belt for his blaster, and a deck of Sabacc cards.

8. Ahsoka Tano (Fulcrum). Ahsoka played a huge role at the end of Season 1 of Rebels and a large role in Season 2. The Mandalore Ahsoka figure needs a slight repaint and a new head sculpt and this figure can easily be done.

9. Darth Vader. The only thing Vader would need to the Dark Times buck is a new sculpt for his helmet, which looked different from the original. This one is easy, and Vader figures sell.

10. (Tied) Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister. These 2 Inquisitors gave Kanan and Ezra fits in Season 2. And since I believe we will get Rebels figures from the 1st 2 seasons as general releases, they need some villains, especially since we are soon getting the Grand Inquisitor (albeit from the Obi-Wan series). The Fifth Brother needs to be an all new sculpt, but the Seventh Sister could re-use the Reva buck to save a....wait for it...buck.

Missing The Cut

1. Azmorigan. While I love the character, he'd be peg warmer like Yarna and Rancor Keeper. Nobody but collectors want a fat guy action figure, and he isn't worth the tooling.

2. Rukh. Cool character, but again, I don't see Hasbro making a Noghri buck for only 1 figure. Unless they make Khabrakh from Legends.

3. Mon Mothma. The Rebel Alliance was born in the Ghost's cockpit. Maybe the ANH Leia buck would work for Mon Mothma, but I feel like this would be what the Black Series MM is: all upper body articulation and no lower body articulation hindered by her long skirt. Or using the Episode 7 Leia buck.

4. Saw Gerrara. He needs to be in the VC, and while this buck could be used to make a Rogue One version. Making him Deluxe and adding Klik-Klak with a Geonosioan Queen's egg would make for a great retail exclusive.

5. Kallus as a Rebel. While he too makes sense to make, as he and Rex took over The Ghost while Hera and company went to Lothal in the final story arc, he would probably have to be a new sculpt, although admittedly kitbashing Cal Kestis for some parts could easily work.

Hopefully, Hasbro has some of these figures pipelined down the road. Thanks for reading! Please share this link on your social media accounts so I can get more readers!
