New Fan Fiction Direction

 I did a fan fiction a while back based off of a scene alteration that takes place during the Book of Boba Fett, based off of artwork depicting Ahsoka Tano at Vader's pyre site on Endor accompanied by Luke, Grogu, R2-D2 and Wicket W. Warrick. The original plan was to do a fan fiction story with Leia meeting Padme in a dream, and how that would change Leia's mind about Anakin Skywalker and finally accept him as her biological father, and in a way overcome the fears Leia privately had about the dark side, and also not wishing to complete her Jedi training so she could focus on establishing the New Republic Senate.

But even from that description you could see the problem I had. Not only was I way in over my head, I just had writer's block on how I wanted to frame the story. Maybe one day I'll go back to it. But, there is another story I have planned, and that is what I will run with. Besides, I've already got how the story goes down, who's in it, and debuting a character in my Star Wars AU who was in Legends, and whose presence I strongly hinted at in my last fan fiction.

I have decided to continue my fan fiction with a reinterpretation of the Book of Boba Fett finale. But it also serves as a follow up to my only fan fiction attempt, and goes a little deeper into my own alternate universe take of Star Wars. Plus, I get the chance to give what I hope and feel will be justice to Mara Jade, and give her an interesting and compelling backstory. Yes, she will still be a former Emperor's Hand. But she also has worked with Boba Fett before. The Knights of Ren, well, the lead Knight named Ren appears at the end, but it's more of a cameo.

But before I can write, I need to see the BOBF finale again to get the pacing, and plot down. Then how to add Luke and Grogu into the mix, with Mara Jade coming in as well. I think I can get Pelli Motto's personality a bit, but I also need to see her prior Mandalorian episodes, but she's comic relief in this story anyway. The goal is to make it a single post instead of a chapter here and there, but if that has to change I'll do that on the fly. Once I go into writing I'll list who's appearing, and all that stuff. My hope is to have it for later this year. But once I wrap up the Kenner reviews I'll have more time to write it. But I do have a title for it:

The Choice


Choices play a role in the story. Grogu choosing his path, Luke and Boba Fett putting aside past differences for a greater good, same with Mara Jade. Ren choosing to go after Boba Fett, which if you've seen the finale you know the Pike's aren't going to take that loss lying down, and with Ren in control of the criminal underworld (which I'll explain how they did it in the story).
