Kenner POTF Ewoks

For many Star Wars fans, Ewoks are either you live them, or you hate them. Personally, I love them. They are fuzzy little teddy bears that have access to sharp objects like spears, knives and arrows and can even go joy riding on Speeder Bikes! They even got an animated show in 1985, plus 2 movies, shown on TV in the US but were actually in theaters in some European countries. Under the pictures I'll give a small bio, and where they are in ROTJ.

Now, all figures have 5 POA. The heads do turn even with the head dresses. They can all hold their spears, bows, etc. Basically these figures share the same sculpt but are painted different colors to set them apart, which is one of the reasons why this is a 4 part review. But the sculpt detail stands out. The fur, clothing and accessories are all well sculpted, even by todays standards. Of course these figures are also the same as earlier Ewoks Chief Chirpa and Logray, just different paint and accessories.

Lumat  strangely enough comes with a bow instead of the spear he is shown with onscreen. Not a bad action figure, but you can borrow from other figures to get a spear. He, and the other Ewoks can hold other Ewok accessories.

Paploo is best known as the Ewok who steals the speeder bike! With such a bold personality it isn't surprising that Kenny Baker, who was inside R2-D2 also played Paploo!!

Romba came from a different Ewok Village and was adopted into Chief Chirpa's tribe. He is the Jack Bauer of the Ewoks as he is the fiercest warrior and fights hard to protect his new tribe. His figure has a spear, but he prefers to use his homemade knife as well.

Warok is an elder Ewok and the father of Teebo, another great Ewok warrior! In modern times Warok is the Ewok packed with the glider, although on film he isn't the one flying it. Also he is the last film accurate Ewok Kenner made.
