What Plastic Free Packaging Looks Like

 I made a run to a popular retailer (Target) and while hoping to find some VC stuff, or even the Retro Mandalorian waves, nothing. But I did see some Marvel and Transformers stuff without plastic on the packaging. This is a preview of what is to come. 










As you can see, especially with the Transformers window free open packaging can hide valuable accessories, and for the kid friendly line any accessories fit in a cardboard pouch in the center. The 12 inch Marvel line is fairly simple. I can't tell if Thor/Thora (look it's Natalie Portman as Thor, Thora is the feminine of Thor. Not seeing it so moving on) comes with Mjolnir but buy it, open it and find out. 

With the Leader Class Galvatron (the last picture) you get no window. On the front is a artist render while the photos of the figure is on the back. This is what the Black Series will possibly look like. There are other options. Blaster & Bulkhead have open packaging with accessories either tied or taped inside the box. The Dinobot and Bumblebee show different kinds of open packaging possibilities. 

The Movie Series Shockwave isn't a tall figure but is near the scale of the Vintage Collection. These cards are open, although I know some of these figures don't have accessories, so if there are any they would be tied or taped inside the packaging.

2024 Last Figure Standing

  Once again, Last Figure Standing is back for 2024! The rules are simple, 10 figures in order of preference. And another reminder this is for the Vintage Collection, I don't know if there is anything similar for the Black Series but if there is I'll share it here. Also note this was written in late July, as after SDCC, I have a few changes from last year's list since some of those are being made, but I don't see any changes for when this will start. And I should point out that voting hasn't started yet, but I am simply getting a jump start as I just got the VC Jabba the Hutt yesterday, and don't have time for a review and comparison to the 2010 Legacy Collection Jabba ready to go.
