AOTC Vintage Collection Wish List

 As we are in the 20th Anniversary of AOTC, there have been a few figures made. Obi-Wan, Mace, Zam Wessell, peasant disguise Anakin & Padme just to name a few. Oh, and some guy named Jango Fett. You might have heard of him. While Mace & Obi-Wan are getting repacked, and a new version of Anakin is coming, here is my wish list for AOTC VC, with one in particular being long overdue!


1. Padme (Factory Chase). In the 2013 Black Series Arena Padme came out, and is a good figure. But I doubt the Mouse wants a woman wearing a ripped up top being released again. Adding clothing to that sculpt or making new head and hands from the Evolutions Padme would be nice and easy. This is her main look after all!

2. Captain Typho. Repack the Legends Wave figure on a Kenner card. Easy. Simple. Unless they lost the mold. That could be a problem getting him on card.


3. Elan Sel'Sabagno. The Death Stick guy. I know Hasbro nor Disney wants to do any drug dealers but all they need to do is make a new head sculpt and use the Solo Lando Calrissian buck. He's simple and cheap to make. A death stick accessory would be nice, if possible.

4. Super Battle Droid. This would have to be a deluxe figure due to its size, but it is what's needed to re-enact the Battle of Geonosis.

5. Jango Fett. Utilize the new Boba Fett sculpt, add the double holster belt and be sure to give him a removable helmet! This should be a given!

6. Shaak Ti. If we don't get a Microseries Clone Wars version of this figure, we need her in the VC, preferably the one that was in the Target exclusive Legacy 2 pack since that version she has 2 ball joint elbows as opposed to the one that came with her ROTS figure.

7. Bail Organa. This would likely not be made, neither would a Chancellor Palpatine figure, but Bail is important in the movie and we could use a Senate version, to be repainted for his Rogue One appearance. Bonus points for a Rogue One reference!

8. Count Dooku. Saving the best for last. Why he hasn't been done is a mystery. Well not really it's what to do with the lower "skirt" keep it cloth like the Evolutions Dooku or plastic like the ROTS Dooku. A new head sculpt would be needed and he needs to be tall, as Christopher Lee was 6'3. He needs a cape and his uniquely shaped lightsaber. While I would prefer a new figure sculpted head to toe, figuring out the "skirt" issue using the Evolutions Dooku as a base is a good start. But if any are done, this is a BADLY needed figure! Besides a simple repaint and he can be a Clone Wars Microseries Dooku, or an animated one from Clone Wars.

The Choice

2024 Last Figure Standing

  Once again, Last Figure Standing is back for 2024! The rules are simple, 10 figures in order of preference. And another reminder this is for the Vintage Collection, I don't know if there is anything similar for the Black Series but if there is I'll share it here. Also note this was written in late July, as after SDCC, I have a few changes from last year's list since some of those are being made, but I don't see any changes for when this will start. And I should point out that voting hasn't started yet, but I am simply getting a jump start as I just got the VC Jabba the Hutt yesterday, and don't have time for a review and comparison to the 2010 Legacy Collection Jabba ready to go. Now, not all of these figures will be new sculpts, and of course I have just about all eras of Star Wars represented in this list. 10. Rey (Episode 8 Throne Room Duel).
