Ahsoka Tano Mandalore VC Review

Season 7 of the Clone Wars not only wrapped up the series but put characters like Rex and Maul on the path we would see in Rebels. And of course we would see the path Ahsoka Tano would take, all the while sporting a brand new look. Plus, Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters (2nd favorite behind Luke Skywalker). Find out why this figure is the definitive Clone Wars Ahsoka, and why she will get released on a Rebels card sometime in the future.

Sporting 17 POA, Ahsoka can do almost any action pose you can possibly do, none of the hip joints are tight (unlike Maul, which I'll go into further detail on his review). The cloth "skirt" doesn't inhibit her movement at all. Plus, this is a brand new sculpt, head to toe. Very rare to have this in the VC, even rarer to have 2 figures with brand new sculpts in the same wave (Maul).

The only issue I have is with the paint apps on her shoulders. To be fair, I've only seen the Season 7 finale once but it looks like she has bare shoulders, here they paint a part of her uniform under them. It's not a deal breaker. However the rest of the paint apps are clean. The sculpt, particularly the new head sculpt is amazingly well done! Ahsoka looks like a young version of Rosario Dawson! Don't be surprised if this head sculpt is slightly tweaked for Ahsoka's appearance in The Mandalorian in a future VC wave. If you saw Rebels, the outfit Ahsoka is in looks similar, which gives me hope a Rebels VC Ahsoka is in the distant future.

She comes with the 2 blue bladed lightsabers Anakin made for her. While I miss the "flare" effect on the part where the blade is on the hilt, these flareless lightsabers harken back more to the POTF2 line lightsabers. Or give her the ones from VC 102 Ahsoka or the 3.75 Black Series. With VC 102 coming back soon, you might want that since it was a rare figure and a neat card. But for the definitive version of Ahsoka, get this. Also get extras to make a custom Rebels Ahsoka!
