Vintage Collection Hasbro Pulse Livestream Reveals
VC fans like me have kept low expectations on live stream reveal shows and have been pleasantly surprised lately. On the one this past Wednesday VC fans weren't disappointed. Let's get into it!
Bad news Razor Crest HasLab backers: it will arrive late. Expect it by Christmas time or by January. So you might be getting an early Christmas present to yourself if you ordered it!
The Retro Collection gets a prototype colored Stormtrooper that will have 3 different color patterns and be a Target exclusive.
What have VC fans been asking to have for years? A troop builder pack! What is Hasbro releasing? A troop builder pack! 3 Stormtroopers and 1 officer will be in a 4 pack from Hasbro Pulse! Hopefully more will come in the future! Need Rebel Fleet Troopers and a new Captian Antilles...
The VC Carbonized Collection is back with the Armorer, Moff Gideon, Incinerator Trooper and Shoretrooper. The Shoretrooper is in the same colors as his 6 inch counterpart and looks fantastic! Plus getting Incinerator Troopers here will be cheaper than Scalper Bay if you missed out on these last year.
VC fans have been obsessed with which figure would be number 200 in the collection, and the winner is...Sheev Palpatine! In his look from ROTJ and with his angry lightning hands head sculpt (different from the Throne Room version). He joins Lando, Lobot and Teebo. IG-11 and Bib Fortuna also got reveals, and Bib looks to be incredible. Same with Lobot who still retains his puffy shirt from the 1981 version. Lobot is Seinfeld approved!
Coming soon to the VC will be Yoda, unclear if it's a repack of the Cave of Evil Yoda on an ESB card or the one from ROTS, or even better yet a brand new sculpt (yeah, like that'll happen LOL!). A 501st Clone Trooper is also coming, as is a Mandalorian Death Watch Airborne Trooper, so troop building possibilities are to be had for the VC. But the best reveal: Figrin Dan. Who is that you ask?! He is from the Mos Eisley Cantina band that played as Luke and Ben Kenobi met Han Solo and Chewbacca. Hopefully more band members follow, or he's packed with all the instruments so he can be all the band members too so fans can get them all in one swoop!
