Most Wanted VC Star Wars Legends


Without the success of Heir to the Empire 30 years ago, Star Wars wouldn't have become a popular franchise once again. Without Legends success, Hasbro/Kenner wouldn't have brought the toys back in 1995 in there wasn't a movie or TV show coming out. Unlike the OT VC requests, these are in the order I think is needed.

1. Mara Jade (Vision of the Future cover outfit). Mara has a 3.75 Black Series figure, but all Mara figures have been in her "catsuit". The cover of VOTF had her in a green outfit that resembled her appearance as a Jedi. Besides, Mrs Skywalker deserves a new figure!

2. Rukh. Thrawn's Noghri bodyguard. I wouldn't mind if they based him off his appearance in Rebels, just make sure he has his knife to stab Thrawn with.

3. Joruus C'baoth. An insane Jedi Master would be a cool adversary. Make sure he has long hair and a long beard plus swappable lightning shooting hands.

4. Garm Bel Iblis. Why another Rebel General figure you may ask? Well I always envisioned Sean Connery as playing him, and the art work looks like him too. Plus they have Connery's likeness from the Indiana Jones line.

5. Clone Emperor (Dark Empire 1). We got one from DE1 in the POTF2 and from DE2 in Legacy, but the POTF2 needs an upgrade. Plus why clone yourself to be older when you can be younger?! Just make sure he has a lightsaber to fight Luke

6. Leia Organa Solo (Heir to the Empire comics). I wasn't wild about the art, but Leia had a neat yellow and black outfit that could double as her Jedi outfit. Since she's early in her pregnancy she wasn't showing it so it could be perfect as a definitive Legends era figure. Just give her a lightsaber!

7. Kyp Durron (Jedi Academy comics). He's Luke's most promising student, and overcame the dark path for some redemption. He needs his lightsaber, and a cloak.

8. Admiral Daala. She's a character who got a lot of appearances in Legends. Plus they have a female officer body already. Just needs a new head sculpt, and she's ready to cause trouble for the New Republic.

9. Corran Horn. The star of I, Jedi & the X-Wing novels needs a figure. He was already in his pilot uniform in Legacy, but I wouldn't mind if he's in a more Jedi like outfit this time.

10. Kyle Katarn (Dark Forces). Basically update the POTF2 figure since it was one of the better ones. No lightsaber needed. Yet.

11. Brakiss. Luke's student who was an undercover Imperial agent is needed. He was not utilized enough in Legends. In the Young Jedi Knights books he shined in the first arc but met his end.

12. Callista. She and Luke were an item, and I won't be upset to buy another female Jedi Knight. She should be depicted from the novel Darksaber and come with a yellow lightsaber as she had one in the book. Plus she could challenge Daala to recreate the end of Darksaber.

SWTVC & SWS 2024 March Madness Tournament Begins

  Every year, the SWTVC on Instagram does a Vintage Collection version of March Madness. If you want to join in on the voting, I'll add the article from BanthaSkull which has the Google Form link in it. And due to my attendance at Fan Expo New Orleans, I don't have an article completely ready to go, so once again, I'll do my own March Madness event settled by, you guessed it, coin flips! I will also be participating in the SWTVC March Madness poll and will do my Top 25 on here, since I want everyone who reads this to participate in that. 2024 Last Figure Standing

  Once again, Last Figure Standing is back for 2024! The rules are simple, 10 figures in order of preference. And another reminder this is for the Vintage Collection, I don't know if there is anything similar for the Black Series but if there is I'll share it here. Also note this was written in late July, as after SDCC, I have a few changes from last year's list since some of those are being made, but I don't see any changes for when this will start. And I should point out that voting hasn't started yet, but I am simply getting a jump start as I just got the VC Jabba the Hutt yesterday, and don't have time for a review and comparison to the 2010 Legacy Collection Jabba ready to go.
