WHY I LIKE THIS FIGURE: Once again, it's world building. Not only is he essential for the Cantina, which did influence my ranking and putting him in my Top 25. Plus he's got a face not even his mother would love. He was also a sh*t talker, even at the cost of his own "friend" losing his limb because he talked smack to a farm boy. Real smooth, Evazan! 


WHY HES RANKED 24TH: In the time he came out, he had the top level of articulation. By today's standards he measures up short. But that's okay! He doesn't really need to do anything but stand in the Cantina and try to start a fight, only to get his come uppance. While a new sculpt would be nice, I'd rather Hasbro spend money on all new sculpts for Mains instead of background aliens, if possible. I missed out on him the first go around, but got him the second time around. To be honest his Legends backstory makes him a more interesting character, so that's enough for me to add him here. He should be ranked next to his buddy, and if you have one, you need the other. But just because they're "friends" doesn't mean that both sets of friends should be ranked together, or ranked at all.

WHY I THINK COLLECTORS LIKE THIS FIGURE: He's an alien, and as an Ughnaught, there is hope that Hasbro makes some from The Empire Strikes Back. His card image is actually quite good, as is the presentation in the bubble. What you see is what you get. He interacts well with his accessories and has incredible articulation on a small figure. If only Hasbro could do the same with Yoda! This is a figure I do like, and am glad I own. I have spoken. 

WHY IS THIS FIGURE 24TH? Well, he beat Admiral Piett in the infamous coin flip. I like having this figure on the Countdown (I only looked at the VC numbers, not the figure name in coin flips). He is a good figure, and you might still be able to find him, as he is sadly pegwarming in some stores. But like many, I hope because of this figure we get some more Ughnaughts.

ANH Luke Skywalker VC Review

 Before I get to Luke, I'm going to cover the Ghost figures next week. Construction on the ship is currently underway, and once done I'll do a full review. So Ghost posts are coming, but for such a special figure, I hope you all can understand why I want to go ahead with this, my first new figure of 2025!  Now, I'm moving away from being a carded collector. 2024 Last Figure Standing

  Once again, Last Figure Standing is back for 2024! The rules are simple, 10 figures in order of preference. And another reminder this is for the Vintage Collection, I don't know if there is anything similar for the Black Series but if there is I'll share it here. Also note this was written in late July, as after SDCC, I have a few changes from last year's list since some of those are being made, but I don't see any changes for when this will start. And I should point out that voting hasn't started yet, but I am simply getting a jump start as I just got the VC Jabba the Hutt yesterday, and don't have time for a review and comparison to the 2010 Legacy Collection Jabba ready to go.
