Kenner ROTJ Ewoks
You either love Ewoks, or you continue to curse George Lucas for creating them. I'm in the love them category, they were fuzzy little killer teddy bears as far as I was concerned. My ex-girlfriends loved them, especially Wicket! Surprisingly, only 4 Ewoks made it on to Return of the Jedi cards.
Chief Chirpa
As a kid, I thought Logray was the Ewok chief. But nope, I was wrong. Chief Chirpa was actually in charge, even if it looked like Logray was. He only has 4 POA, his arms and legs move. Sadly his head doesn't. But his accessories are removable. His staff easily fits in his right hand and his headdress is removable (they are on all Ewok figures that Kenner made). Chief Chirpa however has a belt that is molded onto the figure, as well as a necklace. Along with the sculpted fur, this is a pretty good action figure. Sadly, Hasbro last made Chief Chirpa in 2006, and he doesn't appear to be on Hasbro's future plans. But how can you have a tribe without a chief?! You can't! Which is why he's an essential Ewok!
Logray
Logray acted more like the chief of the Ewoks, and he's one of the Ewoks who got a lot of screen time in ROTJ, the other of course being Wicket. Logray has his staff, and his headdress is also attached to his statchel or pouch and is a single piece that can be removed. Logray is quite accurate in paint color to his onscreen counterpart, even if the shade is a touch too light. He got more personality in the animated Ewoks show, and played a big role in the 2 made for TV Movies (in the US, other countries put them in movie theaters).
Teebo
What do Teebo and Heisman Winner Tim Tebow have in common? Well, their names sound alike. And Teebo can't do a jump pass. Teebo was an expert village hunter, and is known as being one of the Ewoks blowing a horn to signal the Ewok attack at the Endor Bunker. He comes with an ax, removable headdress and his horn, which has a convenient shoulder strap. He has the standard 4 POA that the Kenner movie Ewoks had. For any Ewok/Endor Bunker display, he is essential! In Star Wars Legends, Teebo was Force sensitive, so if you wanted to have a Jedi Ewok, this figure can fit that requirement!!
Wicket W Warrick
If there is any Ewok figure you simply, absolutely, definitely HAVE TO OWN, it's Wicket W Warrick! He's the only Ewok to have a full name, after all! Plus he's the first Ewok we see onscreen in Return of the Jedi. Wicket has a removable headdress and a spear as his accessories. Another reason that this is my favorite Ewok is the detail that went into this figure! Kenner worked hard to make Wicket as screen accurate as their technology would allow them at the time. His face does closely resemble his onscreen face quite well. His 2 modern figures, the POTF2 version especially captures his exact onscreen look. His Vintage Collection version does capture his appearance quite well, although I found without his headdress on he looks like an older Ewok. As a bonus, the VC version comes with the green headdress he wore in the animated series!
