Fennec Shand VC Review

 If you aren't familiar with actress Ming-Na Wen, besides being the voice of Mulan and playing on shows like Agent of SHIELD & ER, she is a massive Star Wars fan, and has been for a long time! Her casting as Fennec Shand in both live action (Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett) and animation (Bad Batch) has allowed this incredible actress a chance to show off her acting chops in the Star Wars universe. And she finally has her dream come true: she can literally say she is finally a Star Wars action figure!


Fennec Shand as an action figure is an incredibly well made action figure. Sporting a unique cloth skirt, 17 POA and a swappable helmeted head she literally has it all! Her other accessories are her sniper rifle, blaster rifle & bottle of booze. So when you get the Boba Fett Throne Room set, you can re-enact the moment she and Boba take over Jabba's Palace. While I haven't tried it, her ponytail is removable but I don't have the courage to do so. Her ponytail can fit onto her helmeted head. In my pictures I don't have the tail plugged into the helmet. Sculpting and paint apps on Fennec are very well done. The face sculpt is also flawless, this could easily be Ming-Na Wen's mini me!

Now onto her accessories. She can hold the booze in her hand only by placing her index finger into the opening. She can hold it, but it's loose so be careful posing her with it. Her sniper rifle is easy. She gets not only a great 2 handed weapon grip (THWG), but her head can tilt into the scope! But it isn't all perfect. I cannot get her to hold her standard blaster rifle so I have her holding some other weapons.

Now is she essential to your collection? She's on a Book of Boba Fett card, although she can recreate the end credit scene from Mandalorian Season 2 finale. So you get her appearances from both shows on 1 card. If you only collect OT figures you might want to pass on this. But for those who are fans of Mandalorian & BOBF you do need this figure!

SWTVC & SWS 2024 March Madness Tournament Begins

  Every year, the SWTVC on Instagram does a Vintage Collection version of March Madness. If you want to join in on the voting, I'll add the article from BanthaSkull which has the Google Form link in it. And due to my attendance at Fan Expo New Orleans, I don't have an article completely ready to go, so once again, I'll do my own March Madness event settled by, you guessed it, coin flips! I will also be participating in the SWTVC March Madness poll and will do my Top 25 on here, since I want everyone who reads this to participate in that. 2024 Last Figure Standing

  Once again, Last Figure Standing is back for 2024! The rules are simple, 10 figures in order of preference. And another reminder this is for the Vintage Collection, I don't know if there is anything similar for the Black Series but if there is I'll share it here. Also note this was written in late July, as after SDCC, I have a few changes from last year's list since some of those are being made, but I don't see any changes for when this will start. And I should point out that voting hasn't started yet, but I am simply getting a jump start as I just got the VC Jabba the Hutt yesterday, and don't have time for a review and comparison to the 2010 Legacy Collection Jabba ready to go.
