Season 2 Retro Mandalorian Wish List

According to rumors, the next wave of Retro figures won't be from Return of the Jedi, Droids or Ewoks. Although Target will get VC figures on Droids cards (Fett, C-3P0 & R2-D2). Instead, we'll get figures from Season 2 of The Mandalorian. In my opinion, 2 on my list will definitely be in. As for the other 4, 5 or 6 I'll speculate.

Definitely in:

Boba Fett (clean armor)

Luke Skywalker

Pretty simple, really. Slap Boba Fett in any toy line and watch him sell out. Plus all they'd need to do is reuse the old Boba mold, slap on some bright green paint and boom! With Luke it would be a careful repaint of the 1983 Luke to add his belt and a black cloak.

Who Might Be In:

1. Din Djarin (Imperial disguise). I don't see a Mandalorian wave without the title character, yet Hasbro did it with the 5 POA Solo toy line so you never know. A popular choice in VC & Black Series fan polls.

2. Migs Mayfeld (Imperial Disguise) have to get max use out of the trooper mold. Plus it's another popular fan requested figure.

3. Magistrate. She had the Beskar Spear so you will need to have that for Din to use in the finale. Plus there aren't really any female villains in the Retro style or in any modern toy line for quite a while.

4. Ahsoka Tano. Who else will fight the Magistrate? It will be interesting to see how Hasbro treats her unique lightsabers in the Retro Kenner style.

5. Dark Trooper. Luke needs a lot of these guys to mow down to reach Grogu. I almost considered this a lock, but it has yet to be made for either the VC or Black Series so it remains to be seen if it gets made.

6. Fennec Shand. Soon to debut in Black Series, she's yet to debut in 3.75 form, and deserves a Retro figure. Plus the actress who portrays her has always been a big Star Wars fan, and seeing her reaction would be priceless!

7. Bo Katan. A female Mandalorian figure would also be a big seller. Her Black Series figure is a good one, and the actress who plays her is very impressed with the upcoming VC Bo head sculpt. Besides, not many women got action figures in the Kenner days, and like Fennec, Bo is a fan favorite.

8. Unmasked Din Djarin. When Din finally let Grogu see his face, fans wept. Check out the reaction videos to the finale. Reusing the same Mando buck sculpt and adding his unmasked head would be perfect to recreate his goodbye to Grogu as Luke Skywalker takes him to begin his Jedi training.

9. Beskar Armor Din Djarin. This could Also be a clever way to use the vintage Boba Fett mold, and have his new look which he had throughout the 2nd season.
